During an Instagram Q&A session, the Iron Man star revealed that Falchuk was unfazed by the image. She elaborated, explaining that his response was too cute to miss. When asked, "How does Brad feel about you kissing Mr. Chalamet?! Lol," Paltrow responded, "Unthreatened, not because T.Chal isn't AWESOME, but he knows he's got my whole [heart]."
The viral moment, captured on Thursday, October 16, shows the Dune actor and Goop founder sharing a kiss on the set of their new movie Marty Supreme. In the scene, Paltrow is seen in a striking red dress with bold earrings and black gloves, while Chalamet sports a brown blazer and glasses for the role.
During the Q&A, Paltrow also addressed other fan questions, including what advice she would give her 20-year-old self. Reflecting on her younger years, she shared, "At that point in my life, I really measured a lot of my worth based on how other people held my worth." She continued, "Over time, I learned there's this incredible power in having a deep relationship with yourself, accepting all parts of who you are, and showing love to yourself."
Marty Supreme is directed by Josh Safdie and tells the life story of a professional ping-pong player. The film stars Paltrow, Chalamet, and Fran Drescher, who plays Chalamet's character’s mother. This marks Paltrow's return to film after Avengers: Endgame in 2019, though she also starred in The Politician from 2019 to 2020, a series created by her husband Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy.
